Sundays are all about getting family and friends together for a long lazy lunch. Throw in some laid back acoustic tunes and you're all set for the perfect afternoon.
Sunday's at The Sailor start with a traditional roast from FitzRoy's, and this weekend Chef is serving up a roast pork hock with crispy crackling, roast and green veggies, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. It doesn't get much more epic than this! Plus, we'll also have roast beef on, as well as a selection of dishes from our main menu.
Once you've demolished that, most of us would normally choose to head to the sofa for a Sunday afternoon nap. Well, if you get in quick, you can nab one of the sofas, and then sit back an enjoy a live acoustic set from 4pm. Up this week are Steve and Stuart, two talented guitarists, who clearly enjoy what they do, and we know that you will too.
As English owners, we're articularly proud of our Sunday Roasts and spending a lazy afternoon in the pub is something we're quite good at! We look forward to welcoming you aboard at The Sailor this Sunday and if you can't make this week, then we'll be serving up our roasts until the sun finally comes up and warms us up.
